Human Resources
Location:  Vita Nova 120
Hours: M-F 8am - 5pm 
Contacts: Katrin Nazarin ([email protected]) - Student Employment Coordinator
Human Resources Office is in charge of employment on campus, for both employees and for student workers. They are in charge of paychecks, hiring, tax paperwork, and more. Students can find on campus job using Handshake or propose a new job (workstudy or otherwise) by contacting the Student Employment 
Coordinator.


Budgeting

Location: Treasurer’s Office, Balch 1st floor north courtyard
Contacts:  Andre Ibanez ([email protected]) - Budget Manager
Duties: Creates and manages the annual budget
Resources for students: Have a big campus project, initiative, or permanent job that requires funding? Ask about the PBAC (budget committee) application in the fall.



Student Accounts
Location: Treasurer’s Office, Balch 1st floor north courtyard
Contacts: Estefany Gutierrez-Castellanos ([email protected])  - Student Accounts Manager
Duties: 
Oversees billing, processing, and payment of tuition and fees, as well as refunds and education tax paperwork
Resources for students: schedule a meeting if you need help with a bill or have questions about it (NOT in charge of financial aid)



Campus 
Facilities and Maintenance
Location: Lang Building, Room 51
Contacts: Henry Medina ([email protected]) - Facilities Office Manager
Duties: buildings and grounds houses many other departments (sustainability, custodial, construction, grounds). They are in charge of maintenance requests, building issues and construction projects, heating and cooling, custodial work and housekeeping, picking up trash and recycling around campus, and much more that keeps the campus running
Resources for students: work orders, some projects can get funded through the Facilities Planning Committee.

Campus Grounds
Location: Lang Building, Room 51
Contacts: Joya Salas ([email protected]) - Landscape Operation Manager
Duties: maintaining campus grounds, irrigation, and the outdoor trash and recycling bins
Resources for students: fruit/campus plant tours, get sprinklers fixed by submitting a work order!



 Dining/Food Services
Location:
Malott Dining Hall
Contacts: ([email protected]) - Dining Managers
Duties: Create the menu, purchase, and serve food, and also catering for events
Resources for students: https://scripps.cafebonappetit.com/, students can request catering services through the link as well as up to date menus and other Malott information.

Information Technology
Location: Steele Hall
Contacts: 
Associate Vice President for Business Affairs/Assistant Treasurer ([email protected])
Duties: Investments, large financial decisions and spending
Resources for students: Have a cause you care about and want to have funded? (ex. More sustainability, etc.) Applying for a grant for campus?



Mailroom/Copy Center
Location: Mail Center, Seal Court
Contacts: Mail Center Supervisor ([email protected])
Duties: Send stamped/prepaid mail, receive and distribute mail for students and staff/faculty
Resources for students: If your letter is already stamped you can send it at the Mail Center, if you need to drop something in someone's mailbox you can ask them to.



Procurement
Location: Balch 118
Contacts: 
Procurement Specialist ([email protected])
Duties: In charge of ordering materials for the college, such as office supplies, but lots of other things too
Resources for students: Ask about ordering supplies for large events, campus wide projects, has many connections to vendors.



Risk Management/Emergency Planning
Contacts: Director of Risk Managment ([email protected])
Duties: Ensures the college is up to date on all safety needs (ex. First aid kits, AEDs, security cameras), fire safety and code, and general physical safety risks (ex. protests/large gatherings)


Sustainability
Location: Lang Building, Room 51 (in Facilities Office)
