The Scripps Tutoring Program
This peer-based, one-on-one tutoring program is available to Scripps College students enrolled in any of the 5C courses. Tutoring is free for all Scripps students, who can request support in any subject. Tutoring starts from the third week of each semester, and students are encouraged to submit requests early. To request tutoring or apply to become a tutor, students can submit the Tutor Request Form here: Tutoring Program Request Form. Math Spot is an extension of the tutoring program, providing a convenient, drop-in space specifically for students enrolled in Scripps math courses.
Academic Coaching
Academic Coaching is the newest program within ARS, offering one-on-one sessions for students to develop general academic skills. The program covers transferable skills, including time management, study skills, financial wellness, stress reduction techniques, and test preparation. Students interested in working with an Academic Coach can schedule an appointment by emailing ARS at [email protected].
